8,600 new foster carers needed in 2014

The Fostering Network announced today that at least 8,600 new foster families are needed across the UK 2014 to provide stable and caring home.

As it stands over 63,000 children are living with 52,000 foster families across the UK. But more foster carers are needed to ensure that children who come into foster care find foster carers who are the right for them and have the skills and qualities they require.

St Christopher’s is looking for new foster carers in the West Midlands, London, Peterborough, Cambridge and Essex.
